My name is Gia Anslin, I am the owner and head groomer of The Purple Dog which opened its doors in April 2004.

Since starting professional grooming in 2004 I have accumulated more than 30 diplomas/certificates with regard to the grooming of various breeds, some of which I have prepared for dog shows.

As of July 2007 I have been taking part in international grooming competitions around Europe, with success culminating in winning Benelux Champion’s title in 2010 and 2011.

I try to respect a dog’s natural needs with regard to its type of hair, but not all dog hair is meant to be cut, however they all need a wash and brush-up once in a while.

My customers are my best publicity and my walking business cards.
